Privacy Policy

Client-side processing

Every text tool on MakeMyTxt runs entirely in your browser. When you paste, type, or upload text into any tool, that text is processed locally using JavaScript. It is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. We have no ability to see, store, or access the text you work with.

Data we do not collect

• We do not collect the text you enter into any tool.
• We do not require or store email addresses, names, or account credentials.
• We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.
• We do not sell data to third parties.

Local storage

MakeMyTxt uses your browser's localStorage to remember a small number of preferences:

• Theme preference — light mode, dark mode, or system default.
• Cookie consent choice — whether you accepted or declined optional cookies.
• Recent emoji picks — the emoji picker stores your last 20 selections for quick access.

This data never leaves your browser. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

When enabled and after you grant consent, we use Plausible Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate pageview data. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track users across sites.

If you choose "Essential only" on the consent banner, the analytics script does not load at all.

Advertising

MakeMyTxt displays ads through Google AdSense on tool pages. AdSense may use cookies to serve relevant ads. These cookies are only loaded after you grant advertising consent through the cookie banner. If you decline, no advertising cookies are set and no ad scripts are loaded.

Third-party services

MakeMyTxt is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp) as part of normal web hosting. We do not have access to individual log entries.

Children

MakeMyTxt is a general-purpose utility site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no personal data during tool use, there is nothing to delete.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
